Lisa Diethelm works as a Writing Center Specialist at Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Specialist, Lisa supervises undergraduate and graduate writing tutors and manages the day to day operations of the center. She also collaborates with teachers and administrators to produce writing workshops for high school classes.

Before moving to the Midwest, she worked as the Coordinator Senior of Arizona State University’s Writing and Graduate Writing Center with Academic Support Network (ASN). She was also responsible for tracking the Writing and Graduate Writing Center’s utilization data and supporting the department’s marketing efforts on the Marketing Committee.

Lisa first came to ASU to earn her Bachelor’s in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and worked as a journalist for the Downtown Devil, Cronkite News, and Cronkite Communications while she studied. After graduating, she continued her education at the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences and earned her Master’s in English.

Lisa has always loved a good story, and she hopes to continue supporting the communities around her with their stories, writings, and goals while furthering her own – wherever that may take her.
